On a number of occasions, whilst digging, I've unearthed the odd slow worm. Well on this occasion I actually had my camera with me. |
They're a rare thing and I'd never seen one until I started living in Kent. These are quite small compared to the biggest one I've ever seen but they're fascinating nonetheless. |

They're quite quick creatures when you get up close to them and taking pictures was a bit hit and miss. They move a bit too quick sometimes but I think these pics are ok. |
