I decided to try germinating peas in water. It's surprisingly effective. I've now planted them out in trays in the greenhouse and the plants are now around 1" tall

Now all I need is a fair autumn... I found this method of germinating peas to be more effective than planting them directly. I think I'll use this method more often.

 

 

 

 

Here is my main crop of potatoes. There's loads here but 50% are damaged. I'll be eating potatoes with every meal I think... I have managed to get the other half into storage so I can eat those gradually and hopefully have some for Christmas dinner.

Here are the pink fir apples. These have been very successful. I'm very pleased with this crop and the majority of these have gone into storage for special occasions.
