Messing About on the River

During the summer the river is full of people enjoying themselves.

The river splits and loops in the town which takes a couple of hours to row around.

There's plenty to see on the river and this attracts many boaters to the river on a nice day.

It's nice to sit on the river bank watching the world go by...

Difficult to see in this picture but there's often the odd dog swimming after sticks thrown in by their owners.

Occasionally a motor boat comes by and sometimes canal boats do too.
